With their customary efficiency, the Parliamentary authorities have printed a new version of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill as amended in the Public Bill Committee stage. This – thankfully – means that the very rudimentary version that I prepared is no longer required, although it is still available here in case of interest as it shows (unlike the clean version) both what the amendments actually changed, and who put the amendments forward).
Seeking, as ever, to try to make sure that whatever law is passed is good law, I have annotated the current version of the Bill with notes and questions to highlight matters that the House of Commons may think are of importance when the Bill returns at Report stage on 25 April. I have also updated my resources page on the Bill to reflect the stage that it is now at.
